Kwa nini FundiDar?
Tanzania ina watu wenye ujuzi wa hali ya juu. Mafundi wa umeme wanaorekebisha mifumo iliyochanganyika, mafundi wa bomba wanaojenga mifumo ya maji bila vifaa vya kisasa, wasanii wanaochora mabango ya kuvutia kwa mkono. Hawa ni wajenzi wa kweli wa Tanzania.
Lakini kuna tatizo: Watu wenye ujuzi hawapatikani na watu wanaowahitaji. Wateja wanapoteza muda, fundi wenye uwezo wanapoteza kazi. Wakati huo huo, kuna wengine wanaonyonya jasho la wengine kwa kupitia tu kati. Hii si haki, na si lazima iwe hivyo.
FundiDar ni mradi wa Watanzania, kwa Watanzania. Tunaamini kuwa nchi yetu ina kila kitu inachohitaji ili kuendelea: watu, ujuzi, na nia. Kazi yetu ni kuwaunganisha tu.

Tunamhoji kila fundi kwa simu kabla ya kumwingiza. Hakuna walaghai, hakuna ahadi za uongo.
Tanzania Kwanza
Pesa zinabaki Tanzania. Kazi zinabaki Tanzania. Maendeleo yanaanza nyumbani.

Hadithi yetu
FundiDar ilianza mwaka 2025 kutokana na uchunguzi rahisi: kwa nini ni vigumu sana kupata fundi mzuri Dar es Salaam? Wateja wanaomba marafiki, marafiki wanapendekeza watu wasiojulikana, na mara nyingi matokeo si mazuri.
Wakati huo huo, mafundi wenye uwezo mkubwa walikuwa wakipoteza kazi kwa sababu hawakujulikana – hawana tovuti, hawana matangazo. Vipaji vilikuwepo, viungo havikuwepo.
Tukaamua kujenga jukwaa rahisi: hakuna ada za wateja, hakuna middleman, hakuna upotoshaji. Mteja anapata fundi waliyemhakiki binafsi. Fundi anapata mteja moja kwa moja. Kila mtu anashinda – isipokuwa walaghai.
Tunaanza Dar es Salaam, lakini ndoto yetu ni kubwa zaidi: Tanzania nzima.
Tunajenga nini hasa?
Hatuwajengi tu jukwaa la mafundi. Tunajenga uchumi unaomilikiwa na watu wake. Kila kazi inayofanyika kupitia FundiDar:

Tanzania has world-class talent. Electricians who fix tangled wiring systems, plumbers who build water systems without modern tools, artists who hand-paint stunning shop signs. These are the real builders of Tanzania.
But there's a problem: Skilled people don't connect with people who need them. Customers waste time, capable tradespeople lose work. Meanwhile, middlemen profit from connecting them at inflated prices. That's not fair, and it doesn't have to be this way.
FundiDar is a project by Tanzanians, for Tanzanians. We believe our country has everything it needs to develop: people, skill, and willpower. Our job is just to connect them.

Our Story
FundiDar started in 2025 from a simple observation: why is it so hard to find a good tradesperson in Dar es Salaam? Customers ask friends, friends recommend strangers, and the results are often disappointing.
At the same time, highly skilled tradespeople were losing work simply because they weren't visible — no website, no advertising. The talent existed, the connection didn't.
So we decided to build something simple: no fees for customers, no middleman, no manipulation. The customer gets a personally verified tradesperson. The tradesperson gets a customer directly. Everyone wins — except scammers.
We're starting in Dar es Salaam, but our dream is bigger: all of Tanzania.
